Nail Art - Leopard Design

Hey everyone, so today i decided to do a quick tutorial on how to do a leopard print design for your nails. It may give people a few ideas for their nail designs! I will go through the all steps and will also include what nail polish i used for this look and a mini review on each polish!
Firstly, for the base colour i decided to use a pinky coral shade which is a really pretty look for summer! This nail polish is from Revlon and is in the shade 'Tropical Temptation' number '914'

Mini review on Revlon Nail Enamel: I really enjoy using the Revlon nail polishes, they have great staying power and are in a variety of gorgeous shades. They also have cute packaging and the brush is quite thin but it gives accurate results. The only down part to this product is that the drying time is quite long and if you're not careful the polish will smudge!
Next, i took this minty green polish and made around 3/4 polka dots on each nail. I did this by simply using the brush that comes with the nail polish. The product i used for this was by Rimmel London Pro and was in the shade 'Peppermint' number '500'

Mini Review: This is a really excellent polish, it has an anti-fade colour system and has a maxi brush for really easy and fast application. The drying time isn't too long with this product either.
Next i took a cuticle stick for the application and using a black nail polish i surrounded the mint green dots with little rosettes and i also added a few single black dots to add to the effect. The nail polish that i used was by Rimmel London 60 seconds and was in the shade 'Blackout' number '800'

Mini Review: This nail polish again is good, especially for the price! It has the fastest drying time and again has a good, easy application. This product however does chip and the staying power isn't as good as the other nail polishes.
For the topcoat i used 'Stay Perfect' by No7 which just brings everything together and adds a glossy coat to my nails. Not to mention making my design last for a lot longer!
Thankyou! Hope you like the design :)

Urban Decay Review - All Nighter

What it is: " A technologically advanced and hypoallergenic makeup setting spray that's suited for all skin types and keeps your makeup in place for 16 hours."

What it does: "Urban Decay developed 'All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray' for customers who need their makeup to last. As the final step to your makeup routine, this weightless, super-fine mist is formulated with Urban Decay's patent-pending temperature control technology, which lowers the temperature of your makeup to hold foundation, eye shadow, blush and concealer in place. Makeup looks picture perfect all day long through wind, heat and cold."
My thoughts: This product is so amazing, its creeping up there into my "holy grail" products! With just three sprays all over my skin it dramatically helps to keep my makeup in place for a long period of time. Another thing that i have noticed about this product is that it instantly gives my foundation more of a natural finish (which i love!). As for application it sinks into the skin very quickly so you don't have to worry about leaving it to set and the spray is also a microfine mist which delivers the perfect amount of product. At the minute i have the travel size bottle which is really handy for taking on holiday or popping into your handbag, but i will definitely be purchasing the full size bottle soon for keeping in the house!  I have read many reviews on this product and a vast majority of people say that it is far better than the MAC Fix+ so if you were considering the MAC product give the Urban Decay a spray instead!

Little Tip: Spray product before and after makeup application for extra staying power (it really works!)

Thoughts on this product? And/Or MAC Fix+?
Thankyou :)

Urban Decay Review - Naked Skin

Hey everyone, so recently I was having a strictly casual visit to Jenners, and so therefore ended up leaving with the new 'Naked Skin' foundation and a few other goodies from Urban Decay.
What can I say I couldn't resist!

What they say on the bottle: "Peptide infused, light defusing and paraben free. Coverage without compromise. Our weightless formula features light-diffusing spheres to "blur" imperfections for a luminous, demi-matte finish that feels invisible, but looks professionally retouched."

I have to say that i definitely agree with the overview, it is a very lightweight formula (as you can see in the picture below) but it gives a medium to high coverage none the less. The foundation i would say is more dewy than matte however this may be due to my oily skin type! Another thing which i love about this foundation is that it is enriched with a powerful anti-wrinkle cream and other skin caring products :)
As you can see above the formula is quite runny (lightweight) and i feel this is how it gives you the 'naked' feeling, which is so nice especially during the summer months. This product is really easy to blend and really does blur imperfections and redness.
My skin is fairly light and therefore my foundation is in the shade '2.0'. For the application i use the 'Real Techniques Buffing Brush' by Samantha Chapman (which is amazing!) to blend the foundation really easily and leave my skin looking natural and not cakey!

This product is quite pricey unlike other UD products (i joke) at the cost of £27 but if you are looking for a really good quality foundation that leaves your skin feeling and looking beautifully natural with a coverage then i'd definitely recommend it! I'ts my new go-to foundation :)
